(A) Twilight the movie :)

So last night was the night we've all been waiting for! (except melissa, she went at midnight on opening night) Tawni, Tori, Carissa and I got to watch twilight... finally! tawni and i were talking about this summer when we moved up to flag and how we didn't know what we were going to do with our lives until breaking dawn and the twilight movie. well, needless to say, we found a couple things to do, and the premier just snuck up on us! well, besides the fact that this week went by kinda slowly due to our anticipation... oh and last night from about 8 until the movie actually started at 10:30 was TORTURE!!! So we got to harkin's around nine and they were just letting the line for the 9:20 show in. yeah, that's how cool we are, we show up an hour and a half early. don't be jealous of our awesomeness. well, we figured the line would just start in the spot where the 9:20 show was lined up, right? wrong. we just stood outside for a while, thinking we were so awesome because we were going to be first in line and get the best seats in the house. well, i was starting to get a bit chilly, so i suggested we go inside and wait for a while and then start the line. we go inside and what do we see? a line already formed for the 10:20 showing! yup, those sneaky little tricksters at harkins had hidden the line from us! ugh. so we hurry our little booties to the end of the line, which surprisingly wasn't too long. (ok, maybe not so surprisingly since we were still about an hour and fifteen minutes early.) so we hung out in line until 10 when they started seating people in groups of about 15. we got awesome seats, which is good considering the line went all the way around the side of the building, and there was only a tiny bit of girlish squeals when edward walked on screen for the first time. needless to say, it was a grand night... despite the fact that we had to wait outside! (i mean, come on people! this is flagstaff, it gets cold here! and people were smoking. eew.) But anywho, the movie was great! some parts were kinda cheesy, but what do you expect? it's a story about a girl falling in love with a vampire! my rating is 4 and 1/2 stars.

We got 'em!

For all of those who don't know.... we are twilight nerds. That's right, we are pro-vampires and fairy tales. So obviously we are planning on watching the movie that comes out on Friday. Me and Toe (Tori- my little sister) have been planning this day for about a year now. Our plans have changed as the year went by but the end result is the same. We sisters will watch Twilight together! Toe has been bugging me about going and getting tickets early so we can for sure see the movie. She text me this morning all in a frenzy and said "I've heard that all the tickets for Twilight are sold out in Flag!!!!" I reasured her that that was false and I would go right after school to get our tickets. I went to harkins and asked if there were any tickets left for this weekend. The worker dude looked at me like I was an idiot and rudely said "The midnight showing? His unspoken thoughts: Dumb girl, doesn't she know these tickets are so hot right now and sold out three weeks ago! Who is she to come 4 days beforehand and expect to recieve such a gift! Anywho... so i correct him and say, "No silly, I was wanting the Friday night 10:20 showing. He gains composure, messes with his little computer thing, and says, " oh yes, there are plenty of seats open for that showing." Conclusion: I got the tickets. So here's the plans for this weekend:

1 Toe will come up with mom and grandma Friday morning for christmas shopping

2 I unforunately have school untill 12:30, but will join the ladies for lunch

3 Another unfortunate event: I have work at 3:45 until 9:30. Toe will be stuck home with Melissa and Ashley..... that should keep her entertained.

4 Ashley and Toe will go stand in line for the movies at 6 p.m. JK! that would be a little over the top. We have decided that they will go around 9:15 or 9:30.

5 Me and Cars will follow shortly after with hot cocoa to reward the girls for standing in the cold and saving us spots.

6 Ashley, Cars, Toe and I enjoy our showing of Twilight at 10:20.

THe rest of the weekend is filled with lots of Nani and Toe time!!! i'm so very excited! I love my little sister so very much! I've missed her so much since I moved to Flag. Yeah, I know that we're only an hour away but still, that makes a huge difference when you've been within ten feet of each other for the past 16 years of your life! Anyways, Im very very excited!!!!!

Hello fellow bloggers!!! We're trying something that has never been done before on blogspot, well at least we haven't heard of it! So this is the official blogspot of the Joeflake Apartment. Yes, that includes the Astonishing Ashley Bushman, Crackerjack Carissa Brimhall, Mystical Melissa Elsen, and Tubular Tawni Mosier. We are super excited to start this blog! Mostly so we can be friends with those people who decided to go private so we can read their blogs again.

So a little about us girls! Ashley, Tawni, and Melissa are from the lovely town of Joseph City while Carissa hails from the flake of the snow (aka Snowflake). Ashley's blogs will be written in the colors of blue, Carissa in purple, Tawni in red, and Melissa in yellow/orange. Hopefully this won't get too confusing!
